Capturing Frames

You can capture movie frames to use as paintings.

To capture a single frame:

  1. Pause or stop the movie on a frame.

  2. Click Capture Frame. A dialog box asks you to select a painting type.

  3. Select an option and click OK.

To capture a sequence of frames:

  1. Pause or stop the movie on a frame.

  2. Click Capture Sequence. A drop-down menu enables you to specify the number of frames to capture.

  3. Select an option. The frames are displayed.

  4. Click a frame to select it.

  5. Use the Capture SequenceCapture Sequence toolbar to adjust the captured frames.

    To view the previous frameTo view the previous frame, click Step Back.

    To view the next frameTo view the next frame, click Step Fwd.

    To view an adjacent frameTo view an adjacent frame, move the Frame slider. This enables you to view and select hidden frames between two visible frames.

    To capture a single frameTo capture a single frame, select the frame and click Capture Frame. The frame is saved as a painting.

    To capture all framesTo capture all frames, click Capture Sequences. All displayed frames are saved as a single painting.

    To return to the movie playback windowTo return to the movie playback window, click Return.
