and hold 
until the ear cones are the same height as the auditory canals.
Using the CS 8100SC Unit or CS 8200SC Unit > Acquiring Submento-Vertex Images
To prepare and position the patient:
Ask the patient to remove all metal objects.
Ask the patient to wear a lead apron. Be sure the apron is flat across the patient’s shoulders.
Pull out at the top part of a head clamp bar to extend both bars.
Have the patient:
Move forward.
Stand up straight.
Place both ears between the ear clamps.
On the positioning panel, press
and hold
until the ear cones are the same height as the auditory canals.
Gently push in at the top part of a head clamp bar to retract both head clamps and to fit the ear cones into the auditory canals.
