Importing Third Party Digital Models in STL or PLY Formats

To import digital impression model STL or PLY files when running CS Imaging:

Open CS Imaging stand-alone from the desktop icon.

Right-click the patient’s name and select Import Model. The Import model window is displayed.

Select the maxilla and mandible files, clinical indication, and manufacturer.
Click Import.

The imported files can be matched with a CBCT 3D volume in CS 3D Imaging for prosthetic-driven implant planning (PDIP) and then exported for third party surgical guide creation.
