Annual Maintenance

We recommend that a general inspection of the unit is carried out every year by an approved Carestream technician.

The inspection must cover the following points:

1. Check the attachment points to the base plate and the wall.
2. Check all the mobile components of the unit.
3. Check the X-ray generator.
4. Make an image acquisition with the test tools and check the image.
5. Check the focal trough and the symmetry.
6. Check that the labels are legible.
7. Check for damage to cables, covers, oil leaks, etc.

If the results of any of these inspections are unsatisfactory, see the CS 9600 Service Guide (SMA20) to rectify any problems.

If you have any doubt about the unit's safe functioning, do not operate the unit.
